Mr. Jude Litulumar, MCYC CNMI

The MC is honored to have another MCYC based in Saipan, CNMI - Mr. Jude Litulumar!

Jude is from the island of Saipan and graduated from Kagman High School. He decided to extend his educational journey at the Northern Marianas College, where he is majoring in Natural Resources Management. Throughout Jude’s high school and college career, he has participated in many programs aligned with his interest in the environmental field, such as the 2023 Division of Coastal Resources Management Summer Internship and the 2022 Native Youth Climate Adaptation and Leadership Congress.

Now, Jude is a Micronesia Challenge Young Champion mentored by Tina Sablan, Special Assistant for the Climate Policy and Planning Program, under the Office of the Governor. The Climate Policy and Planning Program was established by Governor Arnold Palacios to aid in the Commonwealth's efforts to address climate-related threats and inequities, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and transition to a clean energy economy. Throughout his term as a Champion, Jude hopes to inform the public about climate change in the CNMI and understand the public’s perception of climate change and climate action.
